We are trying to change the projects page format from the current long winded format to writing the projects in PDF format, then posting them with a short intro blurb. This will shorten the page and allow for me to better link interesting and related articles to the topics of discussions. We hope to have [...]
We had to cover about 3000 km on questionable road, which made the final home stretch to Vladivostok seem like an eternity away. What kept us going was the fact that is was home stretch, and that in 4 days time we could rest in the final pre-booked hotel and relax. We lefty Chita and [...]
Another day another long haul. Over 11 hours on the road, which this time was rather good Chita greeted us with a smoke stack, not unusual really but this one billowed a putrid smelling black concoction of god knows what. The streets were clean and the cops were out, checking us over and over again, [...]

Aah what can I say about Birch trees?

We had been pushing hard the last four days. Mile after long, straight mile was rolling by [...]
Nhitzkey Novogrod was one of the stranger towns we happed across as we now began our steady assault on Lake Bykal and Siberia itself. We arrived on the banks of the Volga River a little after 4 in the afternoon and thanks to the now beloved GPS we had managed to find a rather little [...]
With our new gps maps of Russia in hand, we boldly maneuvered out big lug of a car into downtown Moscow. The city itself is not as beautiful as St Petersburg, but it definitely held allot of old world charm. Oh an added onto that fact we were able to meet up with a mate [...]
